Answer:

300 , 300

Step-by-step explanation:

a(10) = 40(10) - 10(10) = 30(10) = 300

a(30) = 40(30) - 30(30) = 10(30) = 300

Given Question -: In the polynomial a(x) = 40 x – x² find a(10) and a(30)

let's try to solve the question

we have

a(x) = 40x -  {x}^{2}

so

a(10) = 40 \times 10 -  {40}^{2}

a(10) = 400 - 1600

a(10) =  - 1200

Also

a(30) = 40 \times 30 -  {30}^{2}

a(30) = 1200 - 900

a(30) = 300

Hope this will help you..

Thank you
