Explanation:

Because before it had starch in it so it gave the iodine test positive. But after chewing it went through the mouth that is saliva was applied on it. Saliva separates the carbohydrates present in food. So the test was negative later.

Because digestion of starch takes place in mouth due to presence of an ptyalin enzyme that is why when slice is chewed it does not give blue black colour.
