In the quadrilateral ABCD, AD = CD and
ZA= 90° = ZC. Prove that AB = BC.​

Given:-

  • In quadrilateral ABCD, AD =CD
  • ZA = 90° = ZC

Find:-

  • Prove that AB = BC

Solution:-

From ΔABD and ΔBCD:-

AD = CD (Given)

BC = BC ( common side)

{ \angle{BAD=∠BCD}}

ΔBAD ≅ ΔBCD (by RHS)

AB = BC ( By CPCT)

Hence proved
