In the ratio are the gases hydrogen and oxygen collected when water is subjected to electrolysis ??

When water is electrolysed, then Hydrogen and Oxygen are formed.

In H2O, the Ratio of Hydrogen and Oxygen is 2:1.

So, when it is electrolysed, the ratio in which Hydrogen and Oxygen formed is 2:1.

That's why when this reaction is carried out using inverted test tube. Then, Hydrogen is formed in double amount than Oxygen.
