In the reaction ,if 4 moles of ammonia react with 5 moles of Oxygen gas we get 4moles of NO and 6 moles of water . So 1mole of ammonia can react with 5/4 moles of Oxygen gas to give 1 mole of NO and 3/2 moles of water but 1 mole of Oxygen gas is only present .The above statements can be justified by using Gay-Lussac Law . So then 4/5 moles of Ammonia only reacts with 1 mole of Oxygen gas to react to produce 4/5 moles of NO and 6/5 moles of water . So the product mixture consists of 1/5 moles of ammonia and 4/5 moles of NO in gaseous states ,6/5 moles of water in liquid state.Hope it helps you...
