A and B respectivel are :

Reaction : CH3OH (→┴oxidation) A (→┴NH₃) B

1. CH3OH (→┴oxidation) A

=> Methanol undergoes oxidation to give methanoic acid or formic acid

• A= HCOOH

2. HCOOH (→┴NH₃) B

=> Above reaction is Hoffman's bromamide reaction. In which following acid will get converted to amide with the loss of water molecule.

• HCOOH (→┴NH₃) HCONH₂

• B = HCONH₂ (Methanamide)

Hence correct option is (c)
