Answer:

(c) 30.33

Explanation:

VO + Fe_{2} O_{3} -----> FeO + V_{2} O_{5}

VO ---->V_{2} O_{5}

Multiplying LHS by 2 to balance the equation,

2VO ----> V_{2} O_{5}

Oxidation No. of V in VO = +2 and in 2VO = 2 x 2 = +4

Oxidation No. of V in V_{2} O_{5} = +5 x 2 = + 10

Change in oxidation number or n- factor = 10 - 4 = +6

Equivalent Weight = Molecular weight/n- factor

Equivalent weight = 182/6 = 30.33 amu

Hope it helps..!! ^_^
