Zinc gets oxidised in Zn+FeSO₄------> ZnSO₄+Fe
as in reactants side oxidation number of zinc is 0 and in products side oxidation number of zinc in ZnSO₄ is +2 so as oxidation number is increased it gets oxidised and also Zn acts as an reducing agent.
