In the recipe of a cake, the ratio of butter and dry fruits to be used is 3 : 2 by weight. If Leena is using 900 grams of butter , what is the quantity of dry fruits she has to use?

Ratio of butter and dry fruits = 3:2

Then let the weight of butter be , 3xg and weight of dry fruits be 2xg

then, 3x=900g

x= 900/3= 100

Hence, weight of dry fruits= 2x= 2*100=200g

therefore, she has to use 200g of dry fruits
