LM=12cm
LN=20cm

by using Pythagoras theorem

${ln }^{2} = {mn}^{2} + {lm}^{2}$
I.e.
${20}^{2} = {mn}^{2} + {12}^{2}$
400-144=mn^2

$\sqrt{256} = {mn}$
16=mn

mn=16cm
