In the right angled ΔQPR, PM is the altitude. Given QR=8cm and MQ=3.5cm. Calculate PR.​

Answer:

We have

∠QPR=∠PMR=90°

∠PRQ=∠PRM(common)

ΔPQR=ΔMPR(AA similarity)

QR/PR=PR/MR

PR²=8×4.5=36

=>PR=36/2

=6cm
