because he is still thinking about the road not taken would be sign of regret. he is still thinking about the other road which he had not taken.

In the poem the road not taken by robert frost the poet was sigh because it was difficult for him to choose a path.He thought that he can choose the first path but he dont want to go to that path in which all people were going then he decided to choose the second road because it was less travelled and on choosing the second road he became a famous poet.
