Answer: When at crossroads, poet chose 'The road not taken' because it was less traveled by. The poet was adventurous and daring and wanted to know what the undiscovered road held. The first road was taken by many, and he knew the outcome but he didn't want to be the part of crowd. Instead of opting for conventional option i.e. worn out road, he chose an unconventional one i.e. grassy, clean and beautiful road because he wanted to make a difference.
