IN THE SENTENCE GIVEN IN THE EXAMPLE:- ANJALI IS WATCHING TV WHILE HER BROTHER IS SLEEPING. ANJALI IS WATCHING TV IS CLAUSE 1 AND WHILE HER BROTHER IS SLEEPING IS CLAUSE TWO. THERE IS ANOTHER EXAMPLE GIVEN :- HE ATE THE MEDICINE BUT IT DID HIM NO GOOD. HE ATE THE MEDICINE IS CLAUSE 1 AND IT DID HIM NO GOOD IS CLAUSE 2 THEN WHERE BUT SUPPOSED TO BE AND IF IT CAN BE SKIPPED THEN WHY CANT WHILE BE SKIPPED IN THE FIRST SENTENCE?

It is because the first sentence is about what 2 different persons are doing but the second sentence is about the effect of the action of first clause. In the first clause while is included because it indicates the time frame and also helps us to know when the actions of both the persons are taking place. In the second sentence But is just a connector so it is not included in the clause. Hope it helps . Pls mark as brainliest.
