It allowed freedom of religion, even though William Penn was a Quaker, and they tolerated everyone's individual beliefs. This also influenced the US's acceptance of every race and nationality. Legislative power in Pennsylvania was given to those elected by the colony. It gave people the freedom of choice, under the Concession.
