Here is MY answer: The factions are neutral groups, pro slavery, and then anti-slavery. The names are obviously self-explanatory. The resolution ended with a pretty good compromise that a structure of the Congress will sometime be made to stand for all of the states with a bigger population but depending on the bigger population, that is, for the state's representation. The determination of the peaceful ending did some good for the anti-slavery movement, which ended slavery in at least SOME of the states. Of course, the pro-slavery faction was surely upset, and it shouldn't have really mattered to the neutral group, since they were, well, neutral about slavery in the states. The history behind slavery has changed the states a whole bunch, and the states are better off without slavery, considering America is "Home of the Free". Imagine a world where slavery was legal still in some states of America. The pro-slavery groups were more than likely furious with the decision of no more slavery. The anti-slavery groups were more than likely overjoyed with the new Congress' decision of overthrowing slavery.
