                                         A FACE IN THE DARK

Face in the is a suspense created story by Ruskin Bond. The story has all the essential flavors of supernatural elements. It has an amazing sense of humor in it. The whole story revolves around a single man known as Mr Oliver.

He was a teacher in a school. He had few mischievous students in his class. He usually pass a forest while going back to school from the popular Shimla Bazaar. He often take the same route.

One night, when he was passing through the forest. He met with a supernatural power. Who did not have a face. He got very scared and thought it was a ghost. He was a bachelor man and live alone.

In the end, the readers still get the confusing question that the supernatural power was a ghost or a prank played by his students only.
