Nobody wanted a bed ridden child so she was left alone and the cry was to send Maggie to the poorhouse .But later we find that Maggie was taken by Mr.Thompson who was child less and Maggie proves to be the angle in disguise in the house of Mr. and Mrs.Thompson .
