The story My Childhood is taken from the Wings of Fire, an autobiography written by Doctor A. P. J. Abdul Kalam.
EXPLANATION:
In the story Doctor Kalam revisits his childhood to narrate the story of his childhood. One such incident was when a new teacher arrived in their school, and he saw that young Doctor Kalam, a Muslim boy is sitting with a
Hindu Brahman's son in the first row, the teacher was infuriated with this and send Kalam to sit on the last row. Both Kalam and his friend was utterly saddened by this behaviour, and both of them complained about this to their parents. The next day their parents reached the school with them and confronted the teacher and said that he must not poison the young minds of these children with social hatred.
He asked the teacher to either apologize to Kalam or to leave the school. The teacher accepted his mistake and promised to be a better person in the future. Therefore, the teacher was wrong in his conduct but he was a changed person after this incident.
