the answer is because of continious work and answering the questions of ppl on ouija board she was too tired to come in single bit hope it helps

I think in the story Shady plot Helen appeared in bots and pieces because she was too tired becoz of reckless use of ouija board so we coukd not expect a person doing work whole night then be active during whole day.. Thus being so tired she apperred in bots and peices
