Hello!!
Heres ur answer !!!
In the story a face in the dark, Mr Oliver was returning to school after stroll in the night. While was walking throw the forest, he saw by the flickering light of his torch a boy sitting alone on a Rock, his head covered by his hands . he wore a school cap and Was crying silently and shaking convulsively. Mr Oliver came near him so that he could recognise the miscreant but seeing him trying his anger converted into kindness and he asked the boy why he was crying and also asked him what he was doing late at night the boy then put up his head and then Mr Oliver so a face with no eyes,no ears and no mouth it was a simple round face.Mr Oliver was so scared that his torch fell and he scrambled along the forest blindly shouting for help.
Mr Oliver who was an anglo indian teacher recognised the boy as he wore a school cap and at that time boys of rich families had to wear a school cap to their schools.
