Jamuna looses 11.50 in the deal.

Explanation:

First thing, there can not be shortage but excess money of 3.50, as Jamuna sold it more price (i.e. 1.00 rather than 0.5 + 0.4 = 0.9 per 5 lemons., once deal started with same number of lemons.

Both have 210 lemons

Jamuna share price is : 210 x 50/2 = 52.50

Seema share price: 210 x 0.40/3 = 28

So total should be: 52.50+28 =80.5

But she sold it : 420 *0.2 (five per rupee) = 84.00 Rupees

Profit: 84.00-80.50 = 3.50 rupees

Now 84 rupees divided by both same, each having 42

So Jamuna get 52.50-41 = 11.50 Rupees loss

Seema profited from the deal: 41-28=13 Rupees.
