There are total 17 numbers of gift packets on the shelf.
Explanation:
Since the 1st yellow packet is 6th from the left
=> there are 5 packets on it's left side
the other yellow packet is 8th from the right
=> there are 7 packets on its right
Between them there are 3 packets
Hence total number of packets,
= 5 on left + 2 yellow + 3 in between + 7 on right
= 17
Hence there are a minimum of 17 gift packets present on the shelf.
