║⊕ANSWER⊕║

GIVEN

Height (h) of the cylindrical part = 2.1 m

Radius of the cylindrical part = 1.5 m

Slant height (l) of conical part = 2.8 m

Total canvas used = CSA of conical part + CSA of cylindrical part

                               = πrl + 2πrh

                               = πr(2h+l)

                                = (22/7)×1.5(2×2.1+2.8)

                                = (22/7)×1.5(4.2+2.8)

                                = (22/7)×1.5(7)

                                = 33 m²

Cost of 1 m² canvas = ₹ 500 per m²

Cost of 44 m² canvas = 33 × 500 = 16500

The cost of Canvas needed to make the tent= ₹ 16500
