in the test 4 marks are given for every correct answer and 1 mark is given for every incorrect answer. Rahul attempt all the question and scored 64 marks. though he only got 20 correct answer (1) how many of his answer were incorrect

Let the number of incorrect answers be x:

20 × 4 + x × -1 = 64

80 - x = 64

x = 80 - 64

x = 16

Therefore, number of incorrect answers = 16

Total number of questions in the test = 20 + 16 = 36
