in the titration between ammonium sulphate and sodium carbonate with sulphuric acid, the ammonium sulphate doesnot take part in titration .Why ?​

Answer:

Step 1 : Sodium carbonate initially combines with sulphuric acid to yeild Sodium sulphate and other byproducts.

Step 2 : In this reaction , Hydrogen ion and carbonate combines to form H2CO3 which decomposes into water and carbon dioxide.

Hence , the reaction is known as double decomposition. Here , there is no involvement of ammonium sulphate.
