in the Trapezium ABCD, AB parallel CD.if AB is 8cm, CD is 14cm & distance between the parallel sides is 10cm, find the area of the Trapezium

Given:AB || CD

AB=8cm and CD=14cm

distance between parallel sides=10cm

area of a trapezium =1/2×sum of parallel sides×distance between them

so,area=1/2×(8+14)×10

=1/2×22×10

=110cm²

so,110cm² is the answer.
