In the triangle below, ∠1=35∘ and ∠3=100∘ . What are the measurements of ∠2 & ∠4 ? Explain how you arrived at your answers.

angle 1 + angle 2 + angle 3 = 180 ( angle sum property)

35° + 100° + angle 2 = 18

angle 2 = 180°-135° = 45° ............. (1)

now , angle 2 + angle 4 = 180° ( angles on same line are 180°)

now putting the value of angle 2 in above equation we get ,

45° + angle 4 = 180°

angle 4 = 180°- 45 ° = 135°
