in the tungsten filament current flows through copper wire. but only filament glows not the copper wire give reason ​

because The filament of a bulb is made of tungsten which has high resistance. Due to this high resistance, heat is produced in the filament which makes it glow and emit light. The connecting wires are made of conducting materials with low resistance due to which no heat it generated and it does not glow
