Answer ➡ we know that the speed of a color in a glass prism is directly proportional to the wavelength of the colour.
hence,
red colour has maximum speed in glass prism the refractive index of glass prism is different four different colors which is inversely proportional to the speed of colour.
hence,
refractive index of glass prism is least for red color and hence it is deviated and lies at the top of the visible spectrum obtained by the glass prism.

DEAR STUDENT
Shorter wavelength has a tendency to refract more than the light with longer wavelength................here blue light having shorter wavelength and red light having longer wavelength , blue light refracts more than the red light at a larger angle...........its angle of deviation from the white light of the sun is approx 40 degrees. ..........Thus the blue light appears at the top because of its minimum deviation..........and blue light at the top because of its maximum deviation............
hope it helped............pls do mark it as brainliest
