In the spectrum of light , the red component of light lies at the top of the spectrum .
This is because , the red colour has the less frequency . So , it doesn't bend so much anch and due to less bending it appears to be at top . On the other hand , Violet has the largest frequency , so it deviates a lot and is present at the bottom of the spectrum .

as it has min wavelength thus scatters more and that's why red colour lies over at top
