In theory the president of India can be removed by impeachment, but practically seems impossible? why?

The process may start in either of the two houses of the parliament. The house initiates the process by levelling the charges against the president.
But it practically seems impossible because this is because impeachment is a very long process and the president can still use its powers while being impeached
