If the school follows both states syllabus
So it may cause burdens to those students which may feel difficulty to study
But to follow one state syllabus would be helpful to the student even it also may not cause burden to them.
And if they want to crack IIT so they should be preparing it from class 9 so it can develop their confidence and also may clear their basic which would help them for exam.

It's not correct to study both state syllabus and IIT syllabus:

Many of the schools are teaching both of the above mentioned syllabus. It may be beneficial for the students as the schools complete the their syllabus in about 7 months. They teach teach the IIT syllabus after that time.

Some students start studying for JEE,NEET or other competitive exams from class 9.They can find the both syllabus useful for their studies.

But not all students are the same. Some students who are good in studies might find it really useful and enjoying. But those who aren't much good, can get into big trouble. They find the excess syllabus hard to understand and soon they gets fearful of the science.

Also the extra syllabus takes time understand fully. The students doesn't get much time to practice. It may cause poor marks for the students.

I really believe it cause burden for the students.

The both syllabus can be only studied by the students who can handle it.

Hope it helps.
