Where is Mg = Mv²/r ?

In image attached,
Mg (AD) = Mv² / r × (CD)

It’s because torque due to weight (mg) is equal to torque due to centripetal Force (mv²/r)

Torque = Force × Perpendicular Distance

Torque due to weight
= Mg × (AD)

Torque due to centripetal Force
= Mv²/r × (CD)
