In this equation
9000/(x+20)-9000/x
If we would have written opposite why the ans is wrong
Like 9000/x-9000/(x+20) it's a quadratic equation why is it giving wrong ans

Answer:

First of all, let 9000/x = a

& 9000/(x + 20) = b

Obviously, a - b ≠ b - a

Subtraction is not commutative, like addition.

a - b & b - a

will give 2 different answers.

Moreover, as 9000/x is greater, b - a would most likely (I haven't calculated yet) be negative.

Hope the doubt has been clarified....
