In this equation, there are terms containing the variable, that is 7x and 2x, on both sides. To solve
equations like this, we must rearrange its terms such that all the terms containing the variable are on one
side and all the constant terms are on the other side.
Now, the term 7x is already on the LHS of the equation. What should we do get the term 2x on the LHS?​

Answer:

transpose 2x to LHS so ot will become -2x. so it will be 7x-2x=5x
