therefore,

130+z= 180

z=50 °=y,

x=130°

  • AB || CD
  • EF is a transversal.

To Find:

  • x, y and z.

Solution:

By linear pair,

\rightarrow\mathsf{{130}^{o}+z={180}^{o}}

\rightarrow\mathsf{z={180}^{o}-{130}^{o}}

\rightarrow\mathsf{z={50}^{o}}

Now, By Corresponding angles,

\rightarrow\mathsf{{130}^{o}=x}

Also,

\dashrightarrow\mathsf{z=y}

\dashrightarrow\mathsf{{50}^{o}=y}

Hence, value of x, y and z are 130°, 50° and 50° respectively.
