  • You must be knowing the fact that in a triangle the sum of its angles is 180°
  • Similarly for any quadrilateral the sum of its angles is 360°

This can be verified as follows

      Consider a quadrilateral

      You can see that it can be divided into two triangles

      and sum of angles of both these triangles would be equal to sum of          angles of the quadrilateral

       as sum of angles of the triangle is 180° sum of angles of both the triangles would be 180° + 180° = 360°

Using this property

∠QBR + ∠BRP + ∠QPR + ∠PQB = 360°

==> 35° + 90° + 90° + ∠QPR = 360° { The square notation means 90° }

ie: ∠QPR = 145°
