Given:

A triangle with

  • ∠A = (x + 10)°
  • ∠B = (3x + 5)°
  • ∠C = (2x + 15)°

What To Find:

We have to find the value of x.

How To Find:

To find the value of x, we have to know

  • Sum of interior of triangle is 180°

Property:

Sum of interior of triangle = 180°

Solution:

Using the property,

⇒ Sum of interior of triangle = 180°

That is,

⇒ ∠A + ∠B + ∠C = 180°

Substitute the values,

⇒ (x + 10)° + (3x + 5)° + (2x + 15)° = 180°

Remove the brackets,

⇒ x + 10 + 3x + 5 + 2x + 15 = 180°

Rearrange the like terms,

⇒ x + 3x + 2x + 10 + 5 + 15 = 180°

Solve the like terms,

⇒ 6x + 30 = 180°

Take 30 to RHS,

⇒ 6x = 180 - 30

Subtract 30 from 180,

⇒ 6x = 150

Take 6 to RHS,

\sf{x = \dfrac{150}{6}}

Divide 150 by 6,

⇒ x = 25

∴ Hence, the value of x is 25.
