Solution

Let y = 3a and z = 7a

if AB ll CD and CD ll EF then we can say that AB ll EF

As AB ll EF

So, \sf\green{x \ = \ z} .... (i)

(alternate interior angles)

x + y = 180°

(sum of angles on the same side of transversal is = 180°)

z + y = 180° ... from eq (i)

7a + 3a = 180°

10a = 180°

a = \frac{180}{10}  \\

\sf\green{a \ = \ {18}^{°}}

  \\

y = 3a = 3 × 18 = \sf\green{{54}^{°}}

z = 7a = 7 × 18 = \sf\green{{126}^{°}}

x = z = \sf\green{{126}^{°}}
