In this question we have to directly draw the diagram or write the steps of constructions too ? (Construct a quadrilateral PQRS where PQ = 4.5 cm, QR = 6 cm, RS = 5.5 cm, PS = 5 cm and PR = 6.5 cm)​

Steps of construction -

Step i) Draw a line segment PQ 4.5cm.

Step ii) From P, draw an arc 6.5cm at R.

Step iii) From Q, draw an arc 6cm which will cut it off at R. Join QR and PR.

Step iv) From R, draw an arc 5.5cm at S.

Step v) From P, draw an arc 5cm which will cut it off at S. Join RS and PS.

Hence, PQRS is the required quadrilateral.

• These constructions use only compass ruler and pencil. (sometimes protractor)
