It is true wealth and power are sometimes prized over true talent; but this is only temporary. In the long run it is talent that is prized over wealth and power.  

Even the wealthy and powerful people support and endorse talented people. For example, Mukesh Ambani is a very wealthy businessman; but he supports and patronizes many talented sportsmen. He is the owner of Mumbai Indians cricket team and spends enormous amount of money on the talented players in his team.  

Talented people in all areas rise to surface with the help of wealthy and powerful patrons. One must never be disappointed that the world is controlled by wealthy and powerful people. The truth is even the wealthy and powerful people are influenced by talented people.  

So, one must keep honing one’s talent through continuous and dedicated practice and move on in life with a smile on their lips.
