Let number of students in class be x.

Given

80% of class students secured > 50 marks

20 are number of students who secured > 50 marks.

I.e. 80% of x is 20, therefore

(80/100)*x = 20

4x/5=20, 4x = 100, x = 25.

Hence number of students in class are 25.
