here,
let number of green box balls be x,
let number of red box balls be y,
let number of blue box balls be z.
then,
x+y+z=108 ...................(1),
(x+y)=2(z)
→x+y=2z .....................(2),
and,
z=2x ..........................(3)
Using equation (3) in equations (1) and (2),
(1)→3x+y=108 and
(2)→x+y=4x or y=3x
from equations 1 and 2,
108 = 6x
or
x = 18,
therefore y = 3(18) = 54.
SO THERE ARE 54 BALLS IN GREEN BOX.
