In throwing of two dice, the no. of exhaustive events is given by,

We know that dice has 6 faces or 6 sides numbered differently from 1 to 6.

So, for each face/side of the first dice, there will be 6 combinations with the faces/sides of the second dice.

Therefore, the number of exhaustive events

in the throwing of two dice is,

= 6 × 6

= 36

Therefore, there are 36 exhaustive events.
