To survive in today's manipulative world, one should know how to utilize one's talent properly otherwise we will be befooled by other people.
In the poem, 'The Frog and the Nightingale' , the nightingale was meek and gullible and the frog was cunning. The nightingale was blessed with a sweet voice. She was a great artist. Every creature of the bog praised her but the frog was jealous of her popularity. Therefore, he tried to bluff her. The frog came to the nightingale and introduced himself as a great singer of the bingle bog. He said himself the writer of the 'Bog Trumpet'. The nightingale was greatly impressed by the frog. She referred him as 'The Mozart in disguise'. The frog started to find flaws in the nightingale's song and he invited her to take tutions from him. The nightingale was flattered by the frog so, she readily accepted the proposal. When the frog started to teach nightingle, he scolded her everyday and ordered her to sing like him. The foolish nightingale did whatever the frog told and thus, day-by-day she became weak and exhausted. The frog exploited her. Her voice grew weaker and weaker and was no more melodius. As a result, the number of audience reduced and the frog became furious. He instructed the nightingale to sing like him but the nightingale failed and brusted her vein, and died.
The nightingale was a foolish creature who was easily influenced by anyone. In order to survive in this manipulative world, wordly-wisdom is necessary otherwise one will become the prey of cunning people like the frog.
One should not trust each and every person. It is required to have a suspicious attitude.
So, to not be befooled or cheated one should not trust anyone blindly.
