In towns and cities generally the bore wells have to be dug very deep to water as compared to bore wells dug in villages. Give suitable reasons

it happens because in case of cities...due to huge population and ongoing actions on infrastructure and construction a lot of ground water is wasted which is even decreased because of uprooting of trees. for this reason water level falls down and we need to dig deeper to reach the level unlike that in the case of villages. where we find a lot of vegetation and less population and cemented complexes
