Ok, now see..

sin45°=AB/AC

√2/2=4/AC

AC= 4×2/√2=4×2√2/2=4√2cm

Or you can simply do it by Pythagoras method

as, ABC is an isosceles triangle (two out of three angles are 45°), AB=BC=4cm.. now, u can apply phythagoras method.

Or, there is one more method.

Sides of a 45°,45°,90° triangle are in the ratio 1:1:√2

So, according to the question

1x=4cm

So,x=4cm

Therefore, √2x or AC=4×√2=4√2cm

HOPE YOU GOT IT!
