The length of AN=1.5 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

In triangle ABC

AB=6cm ,AC=3 cm

M is the point of AB

AM=MB

Let a line L is passing through the mid-point of M and parallel to BC and cut AC is point N

Converse of mid-point segment theorem:

It states that when a lines is passing through the mid-point of one side and parallel to second  side of triangle then the line bisects  the third side of triangle.

Therefore, N is the mid-point of AC.

AN=NC

AN=\frac{1}{2}AC

AN=\frac{1}{2}(3)=1.5cm

The length of AN=1.5 cm
