In triangle ABC , AB = AC and angle A = 60 degree , AB = 3 X + 5 , BC = 3 y + 2 and AC = 7 x - 11 . find the values of x and y.​

AC=AB

so,

3x +5=7x-11

7x-3x=11+5

4x = 16

x=16/4 =4

since AC=BC

angle ACB = angle ABC

angle ACB+angle ABC=180-60=120

ie,angle ACB = angle ABC= 120/2=60

since all angles are equal all sides are also equal

so, 3x+5=3×4+5=17

so ,3y +2 = 17

3y=17-2=15

y =15/3

= 5

so, x=4

y=5
